Blue Topaz

Blue Topaz is a semi-precious, transparent blue coloured gemstone that belongs to the Topaz mineral family. It symbolises honesty, relaxation and harmony, and ancient civilisations believed it to have cooling powers and they used it to soothe fears. Gifts of topaz jewellery and gemstones may signal a strong appreciation of loyal friendship or a wish for a committed romantic relationship.

Blue Sapphire

Sri Lanka is world renowned for its sapphires from ancient times. Blue sapphires symbolise love, loyalty, power and wisdom, and they have been considered significant for royalty, starting with kings in the medieval period. The current trends suggest blue sapphire engagement rings are only rising in popularity. Furthermore, blue sapphires are known to be rarer than diamonds.

Yellow Sapphire

Yellow Sapphire

Virtually all fine quality yellow sapphires found today come from Sri Lanka. Yellow sapphire is a gemstone that symbolises wisdom and prosperity and exudes a sense of contentment and joy. This gemstone is less expensive than a comparable blue or pink sapphire. Yellow sapphires are considered a safe investment as they are growing in value.

Amethyst

Amethyst is the most popular purple gemstone in the world, and it is the most highly valued gemstone in the quartz group. The purple colour amethyst symbolises peace, cleansing, courage and calming energy. It is considered as the birthstone of February. This gemstone is classified as a semi-precious stone, and this gorgeous gemstone does not fail to make a statement, whether in jewellery or displayed as a polished stone.

Pink Sapphire Dienge

Pink Sapphire

Coloured gemstones are exponentially rising in popularity and pink has often been the colour of choice when it comes to embracing coloured gemstone engagement rings. The colour pink exudes a sense of inner resilience and strength coupled with femininity and delicacy. Pink sapphires symbolise good fortune, subtle elegance, intense love and compassion. Due to the stunning light reflection and appealing colour of these gemstones, they have grown in demand to equal that of blue sapphires.

Citrine

Citrine is a natural semi-precious gemstone that comes in a variety of colours, ranging from lemon yellow to a dark rich honey gold. Citrine was named after French word 'citron' (Lemon). This gemstone belongs to the crystalline quartz family and it has a wide range of shapes and sizes, including very large sizes. When it comes to offering earth-tones colours for people on a budget, citrine essentially has no competition.

Padparadscha

Padparadscha

Padparadscha is an extremely rare pinkish orange sapphire found only in Sri Lanka. Derived from the Sinhalese word Padmaraga (lotus blossom), padparascha is the only variety of corundum other than ruby that is given its own name. Like all varieties of corundum, padparascha is an excellent jewellery stone as it is second only to diamond in hardness.

Lemon Quartz

The primary difference between Citrine and Lemon Quartz is in the tone of their colour and the saturation. Citrine is a naturally occurring mineral whereas Lemon Quartz is a heat-treated mineral. This gemstone exudes a sense of purity, determination and clear thinking. It is ideal to complement everyday wear due to its neutral tone and durability.
